Safety On Campus
UT Austin has many great on-campus resources between the UT Police Department, Student Government, campus safety initiatives and other departments and organizations. You can explore many of these resources and tools all in one place.

The Behavior Concerns Advice Line
The Behavior Concerns Advice Line (BCAL) is available to address questions or concerns about the behavior of someone in our university community. Are you worried about a student you know, bothered that your roommate has been acting differently, or concerned about the behavior of a co-worker? If so, call BCAL 512-232-5050 or share your concerns online.

UT Night Rides

Emergency Alerts
Students are automatically signed up for emergency text alerts, but it's important to verify and update your contact information. These alerts include monthly tests, severe weather warnings and crime alerts.

Title IX
If you are a victim of sexual misconduct, discrimination, harassment or a related offense, you can report it to the Title IX office. They can provide resources and help you determine your next steps.

UTPD
The UT Police Department, located at 2201 Robert Dedman Dr., can provide useful safety resources and services. Dial 911 for emergencies and 512-471-4441 for non-emergencies.
